Nhood Portugal and Nhood Spain reinforce Property & Asset Management area with two new appointments

Carlos Costa takes over as Director of Asset Management Iberia and Luís Arrais as Director of Property Management Iberia
Nhood Portugal and Nhood Spain have just joined forces to boost one of their main business lines. The PAS (Property & Asset Management) area has thus been strengthened with the new organisation of Asset Management and Property Management, two key departments for achieving the 2024-2028 strategic objectives. To this end, the company has just appointed Carlos Costa as Director of Asset Management Iberia and Luís Arrais as Director of Property Management Iberia. Both will be responsible for defining the strategy of their respective departments, taking into account Nhood’s triple positive impact philosophy (people, planet and profit) and the balance of mixed uses, promoting the regeneration and transformation of sites.

Sofia Ferreira de Almeida, head of Nhood Portugal, and Teresa Verdugo, head of Nhood Spain, agree that “with these new appointments, Nhood will achieve great success and fulfilment, improving the quality of the assets managed and reinforcing the trust that clients place in the company. To be world leaders and benchmarks in urban regeneration, it is strategic to evolve the organisation and, with the integration of these new profiles, we are on the right track.”
Carlos Costa joined Nhood in 2018, where he started as Property and Leasing Director. As Real Estate Director in 2022, he was responsible for managing the Property and Asset areas of the assets in the southern region of Portugal. Carlos Costa will now focus his knowledge and leadership skills on the Asset Management teams in Portugal and Spain, creating synergies and bridges of collaboration between both countries.
Luís Arrais has almost twenty years’ experience in shopping centre management. He began his career at Multi Portugal, where he held the position of Operations Director for Portugal. For the last five years, he has been at CBRE Portugal, where he was Director of Shopping Centre Management for the Iberian Peninsula.
