LEROY MERLIN gives Nhood the creation of its new headquarters in Portugal
Nhood has been chosen by LEROY MERLIN, one of the largest companies in DIY, construction, decoration, and gardening products, to facilitate the relocation of its headquarters to the World Trade Center Lisbon. The office move will take place in 2025, signaling the company’s expansion strategy in Portugal.
Nhood will be responsible for the space planning and workplace strategy of the new headquarters. As part of its role, it will provide consultancy in various areas, from people strategy, which will result from a co-creation and active listening process with employees, to the concept design of the new offices.
“We are excited to participate in this significant transformation of LEROY MERLIN in Portugal,” says Carlos David, Head of Development and Promotion at Nhood. “This project reflects the recognition of our expertise and provides a unique opportunity to rethink the workspace, focusing on employee well-being and improving the employee experience,” he emphasizes.
With more than 6,000 employees in Portugal, divided between the headquarters and the various stores across the country, LEROY MERLIN emphasizes the importance of continuously improving the employee experience. “This move reflects LEROY MERLIN’s commitment to strengthening the company’s culture of collaboration and promoting a work environment that values interdependence between teams. Our priority is, above all, to create a workspace that meets the expectations of our employees and naturally accompanies the growth plan we have defined for Portugal,” adds Mauro Leonardo, Head of Expansion at LEROY MERLIN Portugal. “Nhood is the perfect partner for this change, not only because of the strategic alignment we share but also because of the harmony in the vision we have for our new headquarters. We share the same concern in creating a workplace aligned with the vision of our employees and are eager to see the final result,” he concludes.
This collaboration between Nhood and LEROY MERLIN marks an important step in creating an innovative and sustainable workspace, reflecting the strategic vision of both companies and opening new opportunities for continuous growth in Portugal.
