Forum Montijo is back with a rebranding led by Nhood

Nhood, the entity responsible for the management and leasing of the Alegro Montijo shopping center, announces the renaming of the center to Forum Montijo. This change follows the acquisition of the asset by Lighthouse Properties p.l.c. and reflects a strategic decision jointly made by the parties involved. Nhood, which has managed the asset since 2019, will continue to oversee its operations and leasing, now leading the rebranding process with a 360º vision — from brand development to strategic management — ensuring consistency across all communication touchpoints with customers and tenants, encompassing both the physical experience and the digital ecosystem.
With an ambitious strategy for its retail mix, the center has been strengthening its offering with new stores and concepts such as Primark, Noori, Gleba, A-100, and soon, Normal. In addition to these new arrivals, visitors will continue to enjoy the full experience they already know, with services like workspots, solar EV chargers, bike lockers, a children’s playground, comfort zones, and a dog-friendly environment — all designed to ensure a practical, comfortable, and welcoming visit. This phase also marks the beginning of a new cycle, with a continued focus on evolving the space as a dynamic commercial and social destination.
“This rebranding represents much more than a change of name or image — it’s a strategic statement about the role the center plays in the life of the community and in the region’s commercial ecosystem. Forum Montijo returns with a renewed identity, aligned with local roots and driven by the ambition to strengthen its position as a space for connection, sharing, and experience. With this new chapter, our focus on elevating the experience remains: for visitors, who find a center that is close, current, and inspiring; for tenants, who benefit from a strong brand connected to the territory; and for our partners, who see in this process the realization of a long-term vision,” says Maura Teixeira, Marketing & Innovation Iberian Director at Nhood.
The rebranding was developed in partnership with the Labdesign studio, and the new visual identity will be gradually implemented throughout the center by the end of August, with the official relaunch scheduled for early September.
“At Nhood, we believe in the power of brands to transform spaces into destinations with soul. Leading this process — aligning strategic vision, brand identity, and consumer experience — is an opportunity for us to reinforce our commitment to innovation, proximity, and the sustainable development of the communities we serve,” she concludes.
With its new identity, Forum Montijo positions itself as “the center of Montijo,” a space that belongs to the city and to those who visit it. Inspired by local tradition, the new logo reinterprets the windmill, incorporating elements that also evoke flowers, the river, the sun, and salt. Community, innovation, and authenticity are among the values that reinforce the center’s close and forward-looking positioning.
