As People & Culture Director at Nhood Portugal, Margarida Madeira is responsible for the creation and customisation of the company’s culture in keeping with the collective values of the company – Empowerment, Proximity and Positive Impact
This action strategy necessarily involves the messages and initiatives developed by Nhood Portugal, both internally with its employees, and externally for business partners and for the community in general. Attracting and managing talent will also be one of its priorities, particularly through its focus on the well-being and development of employees, enhancing the management of their career and performance, as well as the development of people through ongoing training, strengthening engagement and person-company-community logic.
Margarida Madeira, Director of People & Culture at Nhood Portugal, also adds that “taking on this position, during this pandemic we are currently experiencing, represents a double challenge. Firstly, it is necessary to create an organisational culture in a company which is very new in the market, with a team with diverse backgrounds, and it is necessary to maintain a common culture for everyone, thereby favouring and promoting diversity as a differentiating factor. In addition, it is necessary to make this transformation remotely. In this sense, it is also crucial to rethink the future concept of workplace, through redesigning the employee’s experience, which will be determinant in post-pandemic interaction”.
